“It is the age of imagination.” – Matt Hampton
If you haven’t recognized it yet, now is the beginning of the age of imagination, and it is a currency.
Figure out how to develop and wield your imagination. Feed your mind with as much as possible from books, music, films, experiences, travel, and more. Hang out and only work with creative, smart, philosophical people, have an open mind, and inherently problem-solve.
Obsess over humans and dream big. Now, more than ever, if you can imagine it, you can build it.
Think about it, funding, people, tools, and technology are all available and relatively easy to get. Good ideas are rare, and the imagination to come up with new and exciting ideas is even rarer. That’s an excellent opportunity for my fellow idea people. The age of tacticians, yes-men, technology fetishists, copycats, and bullshitters is over.
Let’s change the world!

What I’m Reading: The Graveyard Book
I finished The Graveyard Book, by Neil Gaiman. It was my favorite read of the year.
I’m reading the classic Ogilvy on Advertising. I unplug for the long break, and refreshing concepts from the master ad man is a good use of my free time.
Happy holidays, winter solstice, Yule, and end of the year. I hope you gather with all of your favorite people.
Lastly, I wish you the best in 2026. For you, what is 2026 the year of?
